Hi ,

I recently updated my MEC2020 to the latest build but now I cannot deploy an EAR.
AppServer: WAS Express 8.5.5.19
MEC Version: 2020.9.16
MEC Build id: 16.0.0-20200916

getting an error: cannot start the application, Check server console for details

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.
Does the server start fine without any deployments? We have a known issue with starting newer versions of WAS from within MyEclipse.
Please see my response on this thread for the workaround details.

If you are still seeing deployment problems, then please rename the .log extension to .txt and attach the log file here for further investigation.

Hi Swapna,

I am still unable to deploy from MEC, I already added the runConfigActions.disableAtServerStartup

I can start the WAS via services, however, will the auto-deploy of EAR still be applicable even if I start it via startServer.bat?
