This thread is about, not beeing able to start WAS7 in debug mode using windows7 64 bit and MyEclipse blue edition 10.7.1I’m having the same issue.
I cant start WAS8.0.0.4 32 bits in debug mode on Windows 7 64bits, using MyEclipse BLue 2014 (12.0.0-Blue-20131202)Anyone had the same problem?
Is there a fix?Thanks
support-swapnaModeratorQC_Martin_1975,
Sorry that you are seeing this issue.
I did check with WAS 8.0.0.7 and a profile installed as service. I see no issues starting the server in debug mode in MyEclipse Blue 2014.
Can you please move to WAS 8.0.0.7 and check with a profile installed as service to see if it starts fine?
Let us know how it works for you.
QC_Martin_1975MemberThanks for the information.
I’ll try to have it installed, and i’ll try with this version.
I’ll let you know.
QC_Martin_1975MemberHello,
Can you do the test with the version 8.0.0.5?
We are using 8.0.0.5 in production.I’m trying to get both version, 8.0.0.5 and 8.0.0.7 to test.
Thanks
Martin
support-swapnaModeratorMartin,
We could not replicate the issue with WAS 8.0.0.5. We see no issues starting the server in Debug mode.
Can you please share some other details with us?
1. How are you starting the server? Are you able to start the server without the debug?
2. Can you please try with a clean profile to rule out any issues with corrupted profile?
3. Is the profile you are using created as a service and has security enabled?
4. Can you please recheck if running MyEclipse as administrator (right click on MyEclipse Blue executable > Run as administrator) helps fix the issue?
5. Please let us know what exact errors you see when starting the server in Debug mode. Also share the complete stack trace to help us investigate further.
6. Please also share the .log file (rename it to .txt before attaching) which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log to help us investigate further.Let us know how it works for you.
