I am using the latest (5.5M1) and am looking (but couldn’t find) a way to change the default JSP designer from ‘MyEclipse Visual JSP Designer’ to ‘MyEclipse JSP Editor’.

Is this possible without having to do it for each individal JSP?

No problem. That’s done with the “File Associations” at Window > Preferences > General > Editors > File Associations. Select the file extensions you’d like to change and the editor you’d like to make the default in the pane below them. Press the “Default” button and you’re done.
