    Hi,

I have just installed MyEclipse and have converted an existing project into a MyEclipse project.

Tags such as <c:out…> are highlighted as problems, and I get a message saying unknown tag.

If I try to add JSTL libraries, and select JSTL 1.1 which is what I am using, I get the message: JSTL 1.1 is not compatible with J2EE 1.3 specification.

I guess when I converted my project, the default J2EE 1.3 was used. How can I switch to J2EE 1.4, and will this solve the lost tag file problem?

    Thanks,

    John Pedersen

    John,
I saw you post this to the FAQ section and thought it was a good question, so I answered it here: http://myeclipseide.com/FAQ+index-myfaq-yes-id_cat-31.html#424

to be more exactly: I tried converting a already existing ME JSTL 1.0 project to a ME JSTL 1.1 project. Patching the ‘.mymetadata’ file to J2EE 1.4 seems to help a bit, but after successfully changing the JSTL library setting, the 1.3 files still lie around, so it’s really better to set up a new project.
