Hi

I’m using My Eclipse Blue Version: 10.6 Blue, Build id: 10.6-Blue-20120727, along with WAS 8.5.5 and working on an EAR project that has a WAR and MDB subcomponents and using Smart Deployment mode. Both WAR and MDB co-exist on the same EAR.

The issue I have is that when MDB is included on the deployment, we get ClassNotFound errors in runtime, but the errors are gone as soon as the MDB is excluded from deployment.

any ideas? could it be caused by using Smart Deployment mode ?

Versions earlier than MyEclipse 2014 are no longer fully supported. We have made several improvements and fixes to our Websphere support in the latest releases.

I recommend you upgrade to our latest release, MyEclipse 2015 which is based on Eclipse Luna.
Please download the latest MyEclipse 2015 installer from here : https://www.genuitec.com/products/myeclipse/download/

You can install the latest release to a different location alongside your existing MyEclipse 10.x installation and the license you currently hold is valid for latest release as well.

If you cannot upgrade to a supported version of MyEclipse at this point of time, then please share your license details in a ‘PM’ (private message) to help us verify our support.

Thank you for the details.I could not replicate the issue at my end with a sample project.

1. Can you please send us the project which exhibits the issue to help us replicate the issue at our end?
2. Please send us the screenshot of the Websphere 8.5 basic configuration page (right click on the WAS server in the Servers view > Configure Server Connector ) along with the server deployment log (right click on the server in the Servers view > View Deployment Log)
