    Hi

    Platform: Fedora Core 3
    Eclipse 3.0.0.
    Build ID: I200406251208
    MyEclipse 3.8.2
    Build ID: 200409171200-3.8.2

    – I imported a project into my workspace.
    – I view the projects Java Build Path
    – I click on Libraries tab (all libraries for the project is displayed.)
    – When I want to Remove a particular jar I get the following error when I click OK:
Setting build path (Error: File /javaweb/.classpath is read-only.)
    – javaweb is the project name
    – The entries(jars) I want to remove references the C:drive (I used to run the project on windows)

    1) Is there a way that I can make the ./classpath file NOT read-only?
    2) If not is there some other work around?
    3) What is the default location of this ./classpath file?

    TIA
    Alwyn

./ files are hidden files — sorry for my ignorance. I’m very new to linux.
Ignore question number 3 please 🙂

Can I go about and change ./classpath file to rxw ?

OK, I just changed the permission of .classpath to read and write – all seems fime. No more build path errors
