Hi,

After i installed the clearcase plugin for the myeclipse, i can able to check out/in using the team menu option from the context menu.

But clearcase menu option is not available on the File menu bar, to perfrom like find checkedout files , stop/start view , mount/unmount vod as we do in RSA.

Do we need to do any separate configuration for this?

I could install the clearcase plugin and I can see the clearcase menu option in the menu bar.

Can you answer some questions for me?

1. Can you copy paste your installation details here from the menu MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details?
2. How did you install the clearcase plugin? Please list the steps in detail along with the link from where you downloaded the plugin.
3. While applying changes in the configuration center, did you see any errors?
4. Do you see the plugin listed under Help > About MyEclipse Enterprise Work Bench > Installation Details > Plugins?

2. ClearCase plugin instalation detail and downloaded URL:

Installed the clearcase plugin through myeclipse configuration center –> Software –> Add update site and selected the downloaded file
from the local drive. It is listed under personal sites and uncategorized group.

4. yes, i can able to see both in plugings and features installation details.

I can see that the plugin you specified is for Eclipse versions 3.2.2 to 3.3.x inclusive. But MyEclipse 8.6.1 is based on Eclipse 3.5.
I suggest you pick the version which is compatible with Eclipse 3.5.
