is there a way to set the font prefrences (for jsp, xml, java, etc)globally rather than in each editor? Also can I save these preferences so that I can import them on another machine?

    thanks,
    Glenn

    Glenn,
I believe all the font preferences are taken off of the default “Text Font” preference under Window > Prefs > Appearence > Basic > Text Font. Although I think I recall an issue from the past where some of the editor fonts may have differed from that in MyEclipse and needed explicit setting.

To persist these to a preference file and import them into other workspaces (on other machines), use File > Export > Preferences then on the other machine, File > Import > Preferences. It’s a very handy thing to keep backed up incase you need to recreate your workspace.
