When setting up a connector to WebSphere 6.1 using GA 5.5.1 I get the foillowing error starting the server:

The java class is not found: com.ibm.wsspi.bootstrap.WSPreLauncher

I would appear I’m missing something in the setup for an IBM classpath.

    Any suggestions?

Can you provide all of your webpshere settings by going to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Application Server > Websphere 6.1. What JDK are you runnng the server with ? Are you using the JDK that comes along with WebSphere ?

And I’m using the JVM that came with WebSphere:

    C:\Program Files\IBM\SDP70\jdk

Can you append “\runtimes\base_V61” to your WebSphere Home dir ?

If you compare your connector with the connector given in the FAQ section, its not the same.
