I tried following the manual uninstallation instructions found in the FAQ. I went so far as to destroy all Eclipse-related plist files from my ~/Library/Preferences directory, as well as the .eclipse and .eclipse_keyring files in my home directory. I removed the eclipse and MyEclipse directories from the Applications folder, installed a freshly downloaded copy of Eclipse from eclipse.org, and launched it with the “-clean” option.
It still identifies itself as MyEclipse in the title bar, and puts me in the MyEclipse perspective by default.
Where is this information hiding? How can I ensure that I’ve removed *all* MyEclipse residue from my system, short of formatting the hard drive (which I’m not going to do)?
Thanks . . .
