    Hi,

It happened to me now for the xth time that I lost all my database settings when upgrading – especially when things go wrong and having to reinstall from scratch as per general recommendation in these cases.

I am defining about 5 DBs for dev/qa/prod and it’s very tedious. Is there any way to export and import DB settings? These could also be shared across teams.

    Thanks / m

    Hi,

This should only happen if you change your workspace, not if you upgrade your ME installation – could you please tell me if it’s happening in other instances as well?
I’m asking the dev team for a solution.

    Best,
    Brian.

I just checked and if you change your workspace, you can copy these two files

    SQLDrivers.xml
    ConnectionProfiles.xml

from the directory <workspace>\.metadata\.plugins\com.genuitec.eclipse.sqlexplorer into the corresponding location in your new workspace.
Please shutdown eclipse before copying the files

Let us know if you experience any further issues,
    Best,
    Brian.
