lastminute.comMemberHi,
I have a problem of the ‘new and improved’ JSP editor frequently crashing my IDE – usually to an extent that I need to kill the java processes with task manager (4.1M1). It normally works for the 1st couple of pages. But when I open one after the IDE has been up for a while it gets stuck when loading the editor libs. I don’t have much passion to sort this out properly and just want to use the classic editor, which works fine. Is there an easy way to default to it – there is none under Prefs>Editor>JSP (where it should be IMHO)
I pasted my config below – maybe there is something obvious for you guys why I have these issues.
Thanks!

Riyad KallaMemberYou can navigate to Window > Preferences > General > Editors > File Associations, this is where all file associations are handled, find the extension you want to change (*.jsp for example) and select the Classic editor and hit the “Make Default” button.
lastminute.comMemberExcellent. Esp when creating new JSPs there didn’t seem to be an alternative. Thanks.
