I am trying to checkout what myeclipse does for spring . However I’m using the latest version of spring 1.2.6 and it wants to add it’s own libraries … it just says 1.2 , not specifyng anything else . And I’d like to select my own libraries , not have My Eclipse copy it’s own … is this possible ?

Also is there anywhere to read about what My Eclipse can do for spring ?

    Zapa,

MyEclispe 4.1M2 shipped with Spring 1.2.6 libraries. If you still need to change the libraries, Window > Preferences > Project capabilities > Spring. Is that flexible enough for you?

Spring documentation is lacking, we will be getting to this in a bit. In the meanwhile, some details are available here (pertain to 4.1M2) http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-69.html

In brief, we’ve added a whole bunch of wizards, a beans config editor with intelligent autocomplete, a special outline view and a Spring Beans view. There is also special support for hibernate + spring projects.

Let us know if you require further detail,
    Best,
    Brian.

good to know they are up to date , usefull to know they can be changed .

also the spring + hibernate capabilities is great news since lots of hibernate tools become confusing when you use hibernate only below spring .

i’m just starting to find my way arround myEclipse , thanks for your help
