I currently have two versions of Eclipse on my PC:
    C:\eclipse contains Eclipse 3.0 with MyEclipse 3.8.3
    C:\eclipseV31 contains Eclipse 3.1 with MyEclipse 4.0.3

I’m trying to install MyEclipse 4.1 to the C:\eclipseV31 directory.
However, at the start of the install where it asks for the directory where Eclipse is installed,
I get an error when I specify C:\eclipseV31 of
    Eclipse Location Specification Error.
Does the directory have to be C:\eclipse ?

Not it doesn’t, but let’s first try and get you upgraded using the method I suggested in your first post here: https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/closed-converting-from-myeclipse-4-0-3-to-myeclipse-4-1/#post-245752

The problem was I was at the wrong directory. I had an ‘eclipse’ directory under C:\eclipseV31, so I should have specified C:\eclipseV31\eclipse,
which is the directory that contains the .eclipseproduct file.
Now I see what the documentation meant.
So, I used that directory, and followed the other instructions which said
to deinstall MyEclipse V4.0.3 first, then install MyEclipse V4.1.
    Everything is working fine.
    Thanks for your help.

    Glad it’s working.
