I have Preferences | Install/Update | Valid updates set to compatible. Eclipse 3.1.0 is installed. Software Updates, Find and Install found MyEclipse 4.1.1 and installed it ok, but it did not find Eclipse 3.1.1 or 3.1.2.

Since MyEclipse 4.1.1 has Eclipse 3.1.1 as a requirement, what should I do at this point?

Also, why did Software Updates not find Eclipse 3.1.1?

You can download eclipse 3.1.2 form here http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.1.2-200601181600/index.php
Choose sdk for your platform.If you want update you can ask on eclipse news or mailing list, but I advice that you download release

Thanks! I found this specific link that describes a different update site just for 3.1.x updates.
