    Hello,
how do I disable or uninstall unused plugins to reduce myeclipse’s memory footprint.

e.g I have disabled the appserver plugins just to the ones I need – tomcat, weblogic. Yet I still see all showing up in the preferences pane.

Similarly components like Struts, Hibernate support etc, I am not currently using, yet they are all hanging around soaking up resources.

Maybe for future releases you could consider a selective installer.

Thanks again and keep up the good work.

    Cheers,
    De.

You can turn off onused features by using the Capabilities settings at Window > Preferences > General > Capabilities. I think that will do what you want.
