The installer won’t run. I am trying to run:
    MyEclipse_6.0.1GA_E3.3.1_FullStackInstaller.exe

I get a InstallAnywhere dialog asking me to choose another temp folder to extract to. I choose C:\Temp and it just keeps saying the sam,e thing. Stuck.

I have the previous release installed and it is working fine.

    Any ideas?

Maybe the installer is a faulty download, you could re-download and try again.

This message comes up when the installer is corrupt. You will have to re download the installer. Make sure the size of the installer matches the size mentioned on the download page.

Yeah, but on the downloadpage only the size of the plug-in version is mentioned, and not the fairly larger size of the FullStack installer, wich is 256.705.438 bytes on my system, (6.0.1 GA version for Windows, as mentioned by the OP, and it worked flawless). The MD5 checksum is listed for both though.

Ton is correct. In any case you will have to re download the installer since the “choose another temp folder to extract to” issue is related to a corrupt installer.

That solved that problem. We have such a good network at work I never even thought to check.
