I’m still using MyEclipse 5.1, but trying to upgrade to 5.5. Is it not possible to do this using Eclipse -> Help -> Software Updates -> Find & Install?

(For whatever reason) I’ve currently got an Eclipse 3.2.2 installation, and in a different location a directory called “myEclipse5”, from which I launch Eclipse. I assume that I can download the latest myEclipse “plug in” and dump it over the top of the “myEclipse5” directory?

No, don’t want to do that. A lot of users try this and all it does is toast the installation.

Did you head on over to Window > Prefs > Install/Update and change the settings to “Compatible”?

No, I’ve not changed it to “compatible” – I guess it’s too late now – I’ll download the All-in-one bundle and start over…

    Thanks

No worries, using the all-in-one is the best way to get a really clean install and the SNAPs.
