Hi,

I have just installed the Orangevolt EclipseXSLT plug-in.

All installed okay, but when trying to open an imported 1.5Mb well-formed XML file I get the following behaviour:

1. Eclipse maxes out the processor
2. The file never opens (at least, I gave up before it did)
3. Eclipse stops responding to input

As a comparison I installed the plugin on a machine that doesn’t have the MyEclipseIDE plugin installed, and I can open the file without any problem.

I’m guessing that this is something to do with automatic validation.

Any ideas?

Right click on the XML file and go to Open With, make sure you are opening it with the Orangevolt editor, the MyEclipse XML Editor likely is still being used to open the file which is why you are getting the same behavior reported in the other thread (so in effect just not using Orangevolt yet).
