I downloaded 4.0 myeclipse for 3.1.x

Problem line in .metadata/.log

I am trying to use hibernate below are the steps

1. New -> Java Project
2. Add Hibernate Capabilities with SessionFactory
3. File -> New -> Other -> MyEclipse -> Hibernate -> Hibernate Config File

Nothing Happens…Problem is I do not see the hibernate.cfg.xml

Can you help in debugging the problem.

Richard,

To figure out what’s up, can you please post all the information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context to look into this further.

You are running a pre-GA M-build release of Eclipse 3.1, MyEclipse requires a final GA release of Eclipse 3.1 to run correctly, please reinstall Eclipse (redownload the 3.1 SDK from their site) and MyEclipse and create a new workspace, then use File > Import to pull your projects in. You can try and reuse the same workspace, but be sure to add -clean to your command line arguments when starting.
