I’m using MyEclipse4.0M2 release and found it very intresting. But the Sequence diragram is missing in it.Sequence diagram is very important for our development process. When are you planning to add this diagram ? Also the ‘import java’ option is also disabled in this release.

UML features are far from done, Sequence and importing/round-tripping will be in before 4.0 GA.

I got a MyEclipse newsletter today and in that it is mentioned that the final release of MyEclipse 4.0 is scheduled for mid August.

Can I expect support of sequence and importing/round-tripping in it?

Yes we are still on target for those features in 4.0 GA

There is no word about sequence diagrams on the feature list for the upcoming release 4.0 GA: http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-8.html

We are entering the final week of QA for the 4.0 release and the management team, of which I’m a part, has determined that our sequence diagram features lack the completeness and stability to qualify for the GA release. Therefore sequence diagramming support will be deferred to a future release. I apologize for the late notice as we delayed making this decision as long as possible to give it the best chance for delivery.
