    Hi All,

I am using MyEclipse. After I checked out myjava projects using CVS, I am getting error: Unable to connect to host: “jakarta.apache.org”. If you want more information, please let me know. I am using MyEclipse version: 4.0.1

    Thanks,
    Srinivas

    Srinivas,
Right click on your project, go to MyEclipse > Remove All Error Markers, then do a Project > Clean and rebuild your project. Does the error persist? If so, which file is it reporting the problem from? The XML validator is most likely trying to access a DTD or Schema from Jakarta’s site that it cannot get to; are you behind a web proxy?

    Hi,

I tried your first option.(go to MyEclipse > Remove All Error Markers, then do a Project > Clean and rebuild your project.) But the error still coming. The file name: validator-rules.xml(Dir: C:\src\BaseLink\web\WEB-INF\validator-rules.xml). I am behind web proxy. Please let me know if you want more information.

    Thanks,
    Srinivas

    Hi,

Never mind. I set up the proxy settings under preferences and now I am not getting this error.

    Under preferences:

    Under Install/Update:

    Proxy settings

    Thanks for your help.

    Thanks,
    Srinivas
