MyEclipse Web2.0 Browser can’t load pages on localhost

Using Eclipse 3.21 External browsers work fine. using all default settings. TCP/IP Monitor shows nothing.

So you type in http://localhost:8080 for example and the page times out, but then you load firefox and try the same thing and it works? Are there any errors in your log file?

well, ok there was some confusion because there was a redirect to a url over HTTPS- thats where the browser fails.

Now the problem is defined as:

HTTPS won’t work in the Web 2.0 Browser

Does it work for you? Any https request at all? None work on mine.

This is actually a known bug that is filed in our bug tracker. I’m going to try and boost it’s priority.

Thanks. For simple things i could work around it but when working on security type solutions where https redirects are common it becomes necessary.
