Nicolai ØdumMemberWell the headline says it all. If you haven’t entered the subscription code the editor fails the first time with the following stacktrace

java.version=1.5.0_06
java.vendor=Sun Microsystems Inc.
BootLoader constants: OS=linux, ARCH=x86, WS=gtk, NL=da_DK
Command-line arguments: -os linux -ws gtk -arch x86Fresh install with the following plugins: EMF 2.1.1, GEF 3.1.1, PyDev 0.9.8.7, Ruby Developemnt Tools 0.7.0.6, Subclipse 0.9.105, VE 1.1.0.1
Riyad KallaMemberThe problem is actually a permission issue on Linux. The reason is that Eclipse and MyEclipse need to be installed as the same user, the license manager won’t allow the processes to run as different users (seen as a violation of the license). Once you have a subscription this limitation is removed.
Nicolai ØdumMemberBoth Eclipse and myEclipse is installed with root permissions and in root group. I run MyEclipse as a different user. And the “funny” part is that the XML editor works if you close the window and reopen it.
