    Why doesn’t code completion work for struts bean properties (or any other objects in the context)? Anyone know how to get this to work / know of any additional plugins that will work along side of ME?

    You mean for taglibs?
    <bean:write id=”user” property=”name” />

    this is a feature we are hoping to address soon.

    Yes, for taglibs… sorry, wasn’t clear

    That would be a great feature, which would save tons of time. It would even be nice to have declared local variables be available in code completion of tags as well. I will request it in the feature requests forum.

    I also see you have been improving javascript capabilities – how about tag completion for declared local javascript variables and functions? I also posted a feature request.

    Any idea of when these concepts fit in the road map? I know that my company would pay more for these features. Maybe these could be available in the Pro version?

    You do make a great product BTW. I know another commercial plug-in for Ellipse has these features, but we are committed to MyElipse… besides, honestly, your pricing is much more reasonable.

    No worries *all* these items are in our TODO list. I don’t think management has targetted them for a specific release but I know in 4.1.1 and the 5.x series we are focusing more time on improving the Struts support and this will be part of it.

    The JavaScript improvements go without saying, we are dedicating a lot of effort to AJAX in general which means first class JavaScript and XHTML support. All of that takes time but it is comming.
