rgc3679ParticipantI’m using CM 3.5.3. How to refresh QuickDiff section along the right side of the screen? With Webclipse 1.0.x this was refreshed every time I saved a file, but not with CM. I can toggle it OFF/ON in the Prefs, but it still returns to the “dirty” state. I’ve tried project build, and clean. File Close/Open does it, but hopefully there’s a better way.
See attachment.
Thanks,

support-swapnaModeratorBob,
Sorry that you are seeing this issue. Thank you for the screenshot.
1. Do you see the QuickDiff working as expected in non-CodeMix editors? Right click on the file > Open With and choose Eclipse specific editor.
2. Can you please also share with us the Eclipse version from Help > About Eclipse section? Also share a screenshot of the QuickDiff preferences page.Apologies for inconvenience caused.

rgc3679ParticipantHi Swapna,
1) Yes, when I switch to generic editor, make changes, and save, the “Added Lines” marker goes away.
2) eclipse.buildId=4.8.0.I20180611-0500See all attachments.
Thanks,

rgc3679ParticipantThis is a replacement for the previous screen shot of the CodeMix Editor, because it didn’t didn’t completely show the After Save Vertical Control.

support-swapnaModeratorBob,
Thank you for the detailed screenshots.
I could replicate the problem at my end. I have filed a bug report for the dev team to look into it.
At this point, apart from closing and reopening the file, I do not see any other workaround to refresh the QuickDiff.
We will keep you posted about the fix soon.Apologies for inconvenience caused. Thank you once again for reporting it.

rgc3679ParticipantHi Swapna,
OK, no big deal. Was mostly making sure I hadn’t missed the setting for making it work.
Thanks,
Bob
