Hi,
Is there ANY CHANCE that MyEclipse would consider adding a paramater similar to the com.ibm.websphere.sendredirect.compatibility that WebSphere has? This is a paramater that allows older web applicaitons that were not designed to contain the “/” at the start of a request to continue to work. Essentially, I think the fix dynamically adds int the “/” as needed.

It may sound trivial, but for older applications the conversions considerations are quite considerable. We need to know if this could be created and released before September this year when WSAD Support ends, and we need to choose a new IDE…

Is this just an environment varaible setting that you can turn on with a -D flag to your VM when starting websphere?

Try this. Go to your WebSphere application server connector settings under MyEclipse, expand it, go to JDK and under optional JDK arguments add this:

-Dcom.ibm.websphere.sendredirect.compatibility=true

then click OK and (re)start your app server.
