Hello, I’m trying to use the combobox but I cannot figure out how to get it to display the value, for example for the label CBC I want the value to be Red.

I have entered Red in the value box, tested it and when I select CBC nothing happens.

Hi Wayne, I don’t have one but this is what I’m trying to accomplish:

I want to pick from a list different lab test that are done in an emergency room (cbc, bmp, troponin, lactate).

When I pick one of those tests, i’ll be shown a certain color…Red, Blue, Pearl…(different tests require blood in certain colored tubes).

Thanks for your help, by the way, do you know when the online help will be available…my trial is running out. Really do enjoy this program!

Give the following screenshot of something I was trying out. In my example UI presents user with list of test options you defined in either a combo or a selectListMenu. Then the value of the selection results in colored text for each value. Is this what you need to develop or something else?

very close, If the user clicks or selects “CBC” then I would want the value to be the word “Red.” I just don’t understand how to make the value “appear” sorry, I’m just not sure how to explain it. What do I have to do to make any given value appear for the label.

the user inputs a date(in my case I want the user to select a lab test), and gets an answer (what I can’t figure out).
