Tom TodaroParticipantI get the following error under 3.1…
!ENTRY org.eclipse.core.resources 4 2 2005-04-21 16:25:19.949
!MESSAGE Problems occurred when invoking code from plug-in: “org.eclipse.core.resources”.
!STACK 0
java.lang.LinkageError: loader constraints violated when linking org/xml/sax/EntityResolver class
at org.jdom.input.SAXBuilder.configureParser(SAXBuilder.java:506)
at org.jdom.input.SAXBuilder.build(SAXBuilder.java:351)
at org.jdom.input.SAXBuilder.build(SAXBuilder.java:673)It doesn’t affect my use of the software, but it does fill up the log. What might I be missing?
Riyad KallaMemberAre you trying to run Eclipse with JRE 1.3? You need to be using a 1.4+ JRE to run Eclipse 3.x.
Tom TodaroParticipantI am using JRE 1.5.0_01.
I am able to run my applications under Eclipse without a problem. It’s just a question of the log.
Complete log entry:

Riyad KallaMemberWhat version of Eclipse (what was the name of the file you used to install it?) and MyEclipse (Window > Prefs > MyEclipse) are you using? I did a search for EntityResolver in our forums and got 100s of hits, most were related to ME/E not being compatible releases.
Tom TodaroParticipantMyEclipse: 3.8.4+QF2-BetaFor3.1
Eclipse: 3.1.0
EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_030804_3.1Beta.exe
Riyad KallaMemberEclipse is a trickie one to figure out, what’s why I wanted the file name. They call their ENTIRE development series “3.1”. If you are running M6, then you need to download our new MyEclipse 3.8.4 Beta release for M6, it is under the 3.1 download section now on our site, it is about a week old so it’s possible that you upgrdade Eclispe and everything seemed to “mostly work” and might not have noticed MyEclipse acting flaky.
