    Hello Support,

we plan to use MEB togehter with WebSphere AS.

After starting the server from MED (Run Server or Debug Server),
quite often the ConsoleView shows no WAS log entries at all.

The only workaround I’ve found so far, is to open the configuration panel of the server connector temporarily by right clicking the context menu item Configure.
Than the ConsoleView immediately shows all new log entries as expected.
You can close the config panel by pressing the cancel buttons.
Seems like the config panel initialisation code does something important.

I’ve read in a posting, that MED has problems with logfile rotation.
So I turned off the logfile rotation in WAS, but with any improvement.

Although it is a minor issue, I would be glad to have a stable solution.

    thx,
    Mathias

    Mathias,

We actually changed how MyEclipse Blue reads the logs between 6.1 and 6.5, did you happen to try out MyEclipse Blue 6.1? It used to change a configuration in WAS, but in 6.5 we enhanced it to read right from the WAS stream… but if you had 6.1 previously, it’s possible that old setting is still lingering.
