Copilot chat is not working for me, or for anyone in my organization (GitHub’s fault). The issue is, whereas in VS Code it puts out an error message when it does not get a response back, however, no such response is shown here. It would be nice if, in this instance, we could get an error message so we don’t have to search through logs and such to identify the problem.

Thanks for this feedback. We are definitely interested in improving the Copilot4Eclipse experience when the GitHub Copilot service is down or other anomalous situations.
