In our team we want to provide a preconfigured version of myeclipse for all colleagues. Our idea was that they should only unzip a package to their hard drive and be ready to start with their work. Could this cause problems or is there anything we should take into account when creating a zip package?

Roman,
I would suggest install MyEclipse on every PC and then distribute a preference file (.epf file) which the can be imported by going to File > Import > General > Preferences.
