Loyal WaterMemberCan you switch to a brand new workspace, create a project there and try searching by type. Does the search work in the new workspace?
If it does then you need to switch back to your old workspace and use the -clean command line argument to clean your workspace.
http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-10280.htmlIf it doesn’t, you should try reinstalling MyEclispe to a brand new location using the MyEclipse 5.5.1 full stack installer.
Let me know if the problem persists.
