Walter EralioMemberSo, I had 8.5 installed and a couple of weeks ago (I think was after I tried to work with some Javascript development) I keep having my CPU pegged.. cannot do almost anything..
So I’ve downloaded version 8.6 and try to upgrade. Installation stops and bring me these messages:

I have to add that I did a separate installation of the FULL 8.6 in a complete different directory and taht run ok for a while but pegged the CPU too while trying to ADD Javascript plug-in
Brian FernandesModeratorweralio,
Sorry you are running into these problems, could you please clarify exactly what you are trying to do here?
a) If you have 8.6 installed, then that should be sufficient unless you have a very large workspace with many HTML / JSP resources – in this case you can apply the update presented in the software and workspace center.
b) In your post you mentioned “adding the Javascript plug-in” – could you please clarify? What exactly are you trying to add?

Try to do UPGRADE (couldn’t do it) & CLEAN INSTALL with CPU going 100% sometimes… but now when I try just to install the JS Dev Tool the CPU goes and remains 100%after trying to install it all these messages come up:

Brian FernandesModeratorweralio,
MyEclipse include JavaScript tooling and any attempt to add external JS tools will result in the errors you are seeing. Is there any reason you want to add these features to MyEclipse?
Walter EralioMemberso.. 8.5 going to 100% .. anything I can do?? *8.6 doing exactly the same!)
Brian FernandesModeratorweralio,
As I stated earlier, MyEclipse already include JS tools and attempting to add *external* tools will cause issues. Can you please explain why you are adding external tools to MyEclipse?
