Marcel GroenewegMemberHi
I have a problem with the CSS editor.
When I right-click a class and select ‘Open CSS dialog’ it works the first time, but the next time the CSS class panel gives an error: ‘Style class is empty’.
The style class selection box contains no items. When I restart MyEclipse Blue, it works again, just once…
If I need to provide log files let me know.
Thanks in advance.
support-shaliniMembermgroeneweg,
Can you give some more information?
1. Can you copy paste your installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details?
2. What are the errors logged in the log file located at workspace dir > .metadata > log?
3. Can you send us a screen shot showing the error?
Also, can you switch to a new workspace and check if the issue persists?
Marcel GroenewegMemberHi Shalini,
Thanks for the quick reply.
The problem also happens with a fresh workspace.
I sent you a PM with a zip containin the requested details:
1. Installation details
2. log of workspace
3. screenshots
4. log of fresh workspaceI would be happy to upload the entire test workspace, but it’s over 70Mb after compression.
Maybe you have an FTP server I can upload that to if you need it?
(That would be tomorrow as I live in Holland and it’s 22:00 here now.)
Marcel GroenewegMemberJust another note: this problem already happened before I installed the IBM Rational Team Concert plugins!
support-shaliniMembermgroeneweg,
Thank you for bringing this up. I could replicate this at my end and I have filed a PR for this issue.
Marcel GroenewegMemberHi,
Thanks for the quick action!
This is a big plus for MyEclipse.
Can you provide indication when this will be fixed?
If a fix is available, I will be happy to test it.
Marcel GroenewegMemberHi,
Could someone please answer the questions below?
I really appreciate the quick response after I reported the problem, but I also would like to know what happens next and when a fix can be expected.
This issue is rather important to me and it seems that the CSS editor in general is affected, so this could affect a lot of people doing web development.Once again, I will be happy to test a fix, also if it is not in a release yet.
Thanks in advance

Marcel GroenewegMemberHi support team,
As I now have a paid subscription to MyEclipse Blue, could someone please respond to the questions below?
I find it a bit frustration that I get no answer at all.
If there is an issue tracking site where I can look please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Brian FernandesModeratorSorry for the delayed response, this bug has been filed but has not yet been fixed. We are targeting this for the 8.6 release which is due in about a month.
I apologize for the inconvenience caused until then.
Brian FernandesModeratorUpdate – this issue has been fixed and tested in our internal 8.6 builds, so it will be available in the 8.6 release. MyEclipse 8.6 is currently scheduled for mid July.
