I have a large css file that pretty much kills or slows down eclipse anytime I try to do anything with it.

It doesnt seem like its using any system recources. just freezes.

There is a new CSS editor in 3.8 GA release, we would ask that you give it a try and see if the problem persists. Its a completely different code base with much more functionality, so we hope you like it.
