I was wondering if it’s possible to ‘hook’ into the code generation feature in the UML perspective, such that I could generate additional artifacts besides the Java code? This topic is connected to my other posting, regarding the XMI import, in that in my Rose exported XMI file, I have tons of additional information in the form of XMI tags that I’m hoping remain accessible after a successful import into ME’s UML Perspective.
If that’s going to happen and I can exploit this extra information in the model for my custom code generation, I’ll be able to do most everthing I’m doing in Rose right now, or rather what I’m doing with the XMI export.

BTW, is the next major release’s Visual Hibernate Mapping feature using something similar to yet another Eclipse plug-in? Because technically, that’s what I’m after here as well.

    Thanks,
    Karoly

    Not currently.

I don’t follow the inuendo here, which other plugin? The Visual Hibernate Mapper is similar looking to an ERD diagram tha allows you to establish mappings between tables and so forth and then generate your Hibernate mappings from that.
