I’m using myeclipse 6.5. I have tomcat 5.x configured and working fine.

However often times I run tomcat 5.x with yourKit profiling, in order to do this I need to have the agentlib specified on when starting tomcat. Anyways I have tried creating a custom Launch config..which works..but it never saves the freaking profile..Is there no way to actually save to profile so I don’t have to reconfigure everytime.

Another thread mentioned something about the launch config appearing under some task item on the tool bar..I have no such ‘task’ icon. and looking through customize perspective toolbar command saw nothing referring to such an icon.

any pointers greatly appreciated.

You custom launch config should show up on the Run As menu after you have saved the configuration. If you right click on your project and go to Run As or Debug As, your custom launch config should show up on that window.
