We would like to customize the “Add Hibernate Capabilities” wizard by renaming ALL of the current JAR files that are being brought in (co. std here is to remove the version number from the jar file name). I located them in the MyEclipse 5 install and renamed them.

Now, when I go to preferences however, to see what jars will be brought in for 3.0 and 3.1 they both list the same ones (maybe 6 total).

Obviously there are some pointers somewhere that also need to be changed. Is it possible to change those?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Jeff,
I’m not sure I understand the “maybe 6 total” comment, when you got o Window > preferences > MyEclipse > Project Capabilities > Hibernate, MyEclipse shows the JARs for each version we support (2/3/3.1) and there are about 16 JARs for each version just under “Core libraries” with another 10 or so under “Advanced”.

Given that you are certainly free to create a directory containing your own custom JARs and then come to these menus and remove all the JARs we ship, and add all the ones you ship. If anything gets screwed up, you can always hit “Restore Defaults” to restore the default ones MyEclipse uses.

I ended up copying the jar files and renaming them accordingly and them added them in via Preferences. Did this for Struts, Spring, Hibernate and XFire.
