    Hi this is Ankit,
We are transfering from Visual Source Off Site to CVS.
I have set up a CVS Repository on Linux machine.

I am able to check out the code and work on it.

But the repository is shared. What i want to do is if Developer A Make some changes into a file then how would Developer B notified automatically.

If Developper A is Working on lets say 5 files at the same time and he doesnt want to remember where he made changes. How would he knows that there are 5 to 6 files which needs to be commited.

Is .metadata folder has to be added to CVS Repository ??

    Ankit.

    Thanks snpe,
    Appreciate your help.

I have set up following in Preferecnes ->Team -> CVS.

-Watch/Edit: Configure Projects to use Watch/Edit on Checkouts.
-send CVS Notification to the server
    -Always Prompt.

If Developer A and Developer B has above settings, If Developer A changes something in a file, will it Prompt to Developer B ??

At the end of the day how would i know that i have worked on lets say 11 files and they has to be commited.

    Thanks
    Ankit.
