Primary problem occurs with eclipse photon (M6 release) on Ubuntu 16.04. With standard OS themes, we see many elements with white backgrounds (see referenced forum topic for screenshots), which aren’t seen when running photon on Windows. In addition, during testing, we found that using a different theme, in tests the Adwaita theme, doesn’t exhibit this white background problem but does show other issues: missing toolbar icons and bad color contrast in the Quick Access search results panel prompt text. The missing icons problem is seen in photon, oxygen and neon.

The attached screenshot shows eclipse photon on top of eclipse oxygen, with the poor text contrast in photon and the missing toolbar icons in photon and oxygen.

Hello, I really admire your work.

Unfortunately, Eclipse Photon did not match well with your plugin. Apparently, in this latest version, several text boxes and some areas went blank in the plugin. Coupled with the clear letter – adapted to a dark background – you can not see.

The default dark theme of Eclipse has improved these points.

Attached some pictures of the fields.

My operating system is Ubuntu 18.04 updated from 16.04. I do not know if there is a relationship
