larryfloodMemberWe’ll the “SpringIDE for MyEclipse – AJDT Support” is appearing on the dashboard, in the “Update MyEclipse Plug-ins” frame again. It is showing as being installed at the same time. This is a continuation of the same problem I’d previously reported which seemed to be resolved.
thanks,
Larry
Loyal WaterMemberLarry,
Did the button change to uninstall after restarted the IDE on completion of the setup? Can you upload a screenshot of the dashboard pointing out the problem. You can hit the pm button at the bottom of my post and send me the screenshot

I’m not the original poster. However, this is also occurring with me.
I’ll also send you an email with the screen shot.
What happens (at least for me) is this:
1) in the “Update MyEclipse Plug-ins section. There is a row for “Spring IDE for MyEclipse – AJDT Support” Version: 7.0.0 and an “Install” button.
2) In the lower “Install/Uninstall MyEclipse Plug-Ins section: there are 3 rows, but the important one is “SpringIDE for MyEclipse – AJDT Support”, version 7.0.0 and an “Uninstall” button.
This seems to crop up every other (or perhaps every third day). I have reinstalled 7.0.0 a couple of times. It doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Hope this helps.
Tory
Loyal WaterMemberTroy,
I got your mail but I guess you forgot to attach the screen shot. Could you please resend the screen shot.
tzundelMemberHello Nipun,
I have sent the screenshot via email.

bcchunMembersame problem with me, and it is preventing other plugins from installing as well.
bcchunMemberHi, I also just sent you a screenshot of my ide with the same problem. Hopefully it is useful.
Riyad KallaMemberGuys,
We are sorry for the confusion, the Dashboard actually shows updates *and* installed software. You aren’t seeing a duplicate to install AJDT, you are actually seeing an update that can be applied for AJDT and down below the Dashboard is showing you that the main feature is already installed. So if (for example) you didn’t want AJDT anymore, you could uninstall it and ignore the update.
bcchun, as far as what is going on there, can you clarify what you mean by “preventing other plugins from installing as well”?
bcchunMemberHi Riyad,
maybe its just me (quite possible). When I choose check for updates, after I’ve added the grails plugin site, it still lists ajdt, fails, and the grails plugin isn’t installed.
I’ll send you the screenshots now.Jin
Riyad KallaMemberJin,
I see what you are running into, what you might try and do is popup the Dashboard, down in the “Installed” section, click the “Uninstall” button next to ADJT to remove it, and hit OK to apply that Change, then see if you can get Grails installed after that.
When Pulse has to fall back to failsafe that usually implies that the original update site is not accessible and the hosted files cannot be found and haven’t had a chance to be backed up by us yet… Spring might have rolled back an update or something with their update site.
bcchunMemberthat worked, stupid me for not doing that earlier! thanks 😉
Jin
Riyad KallaMemberJin, I’m glad that worked!
