I’m looking for a good data modeler plug-in that runs on Mac OS X. What I need is the ability to draw ER diagram and generate DDLs and documentation.

I’ve tried Clay on Windows, loved it, but cannot run on my Mac OS 10.3.5 cuz there’s a bug preventing it from drawing tables (I’m running Eclispse 3.0). Contacted support already, but they couldn’t seem to fix the problem. If you have a workaround for this problem, please let me know.

I’ve also tried EclipseDatabase, but it only supports Windows as well.

We don’t currently offer DB modelling tools like you are seeking, although it is always an open enhancement request for the future 😉

It would be an excellent addition to the toolset. Being able to create an ER diagram and then create the database from it would be fantastic. Even better would be the ability to update the ER diagram from the database when changes have been made.

We are big fans of RAD tooling and good tool coverage, so chances are very high that we think this is a great idea as well 😉
