    hello,
    Am having a problem creating foreign keys on mysql tables.
    when I select “new foreign key” on a table nothing happens…
    Am using myEclipse 6.5, eclipse 3.3 and ubuntu 8.04.

    I did not get the question. What were you trying to do that did not happen? Can you list the steps to help me reproduce the issues?

    Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

    when I open My Eclipse database explorer and navigate to a table then right click on it and then selecting New Forgien Key option nothing happens it should give me a dialouge to add a foreign key to the table…

    Did you setup MyEclipse with Eclipse 3.3 Classic?

    Does the dialog work when you try it work the MyEclipse Derby database?

    yes

    no.

    and am using mysql InooDB engine which supports foreign keys

    You should go to http://www.poweredbypulse.com and grab the pulse launcher. Launch the pulse explorer and add the MyEclipse profile to it. Make sure you use a new workspace and ty working with the MySQL Database.

    Let me know if the problem persists.
