mwilliamsonMemberDatabase Explorer in version 7.1 will no longer connect to any of my Oracle datasets. I can use version 6.5 and I can connect just fine. I downloaded the latest version of the Oracle driver and they still will not work. When I first install version 7 I was able to create datasources and connect to my database.
support-shaliniMembermwilliamson,
We need more information to look into the issue.
1. Can you copy paste your installation details? You can get them from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
2. What is the version of Oracle and what are the jar files you are using?
3. Are you getting any errors? If so can you send us some screen shots and contents of the log files from workspace dir > .metadata > log?
mwilliamsonMemberthe oracle version is 10.2.0.4
the jar file is ojdbc5.jarThere is no error message. The connecting dialog box stays up untile you cancel it. There is nothing in the log.
hear is installaton details.

support-shaliniMembermwilliamson,
I could not replicate the issue. Can you switch to a new workspace and check if the problem still occurs?
mwilliamsonMemberapparently my network connection was messed up. When I got that fixed I was able to connect.
