Attempting to switch to Database Development perspective. Working with SimpleDB, an Amazon module. I get MyElcipse Incompatible in the perspective view and I’m not able to use the perspective.
I’m using MyEclipse10 on Mac OSx 10.6.8.

The Database development perspective is MyEclipse incompatible. You can work with Database development perspective by enabling “WTP Deprecated” and “WTP Extras” in Window > Preferences->General->Capabilities->Advanced->MyEclipse Standard Tools. But Database development perspective is incompatible with MyEclipse, as stated in the perspectives list, so some functions may not work.
Can you please try using MyEclipse Database Explorer or any other MyEclipse perspective instead ?
Let us know if you have any limitations in using the MyEclipse database explorer.
