Hi Experts,
In fact it doesn’t seem to be bug, but some access problem.
I use jdbc for myeclipse and Postqresql. But when I click ‘open connection’ it gives an error as follows:

Error while trying to login database:
A connection error has ocurred: FATAL: IDENT autenticacion failed for user “nombreusuario”

Can any body help me to resolve the problem. Please advance.

Marcelo,
The answer here is that your user, nombreusuario, doesn’t have his account setup correctly. Please make sure that you can login with that user, using even a simple snippet of code, and then make sure that user has full read/write permissions on the database, then you should be able to connect.
