i upgraded my OS from Win 2k to WIn XP . installed eclipse 2.1.3 and 3.0 and their respective myeclipse 2.8 beta1 and 3.8 beta 2 .
MyEclipse debugger dosent seem to be working. mopre over when i clicked the myeclipse icon to start the workbench i got an error asking me to check a log file in the configuration folder inside eclipse installation.the Log is as follows:

java.version=1.3.1_08The problem is that you’re running Eclipse 3.0 with JDK 1.3.1. It requires 1.4.1 at a minimum. You can specify exactly which JVM is used to start Eclipse by creating an alias to eclipse.exe and adding ‘-vm <path-to-javaw.exe>’ to the command line.
