I’m developping a TypeScript plugins based on JSDT & tsserver https://github.com/angelozerr/typescript.java and it should be very cool if Webclipse could debug TypeScript (by using source map).

If you are interested to work together about integration TypeScript (with JSDT), I have created an issue at https://github.com/angelozerr/typescript.java/issues/2.

    Angelo,

We have a code for support of debugging TypeScript with source maps written and scheduled for the next Webclipse release. I will check out for your support of TS and ensure that debugging works with it as well. Thank you for the information!

You mean that MyEclipse IDE will provide TypeScript support too? typescript.java could interest you?

We are of course looking into providing full TypeScript support blended with MyEclipse and typescript.java is our first pick here 🙂 However, for now, we just want our debugger to be compatible with TS and allow user to install 3-rd party tooling to handle TS.
