I am using weblogic 8.1 sp3 and myEclipse 3.0.0. When I deployed the web app within myEclipse, I could only deploy app as DefaultWebApp within webLogic directory. Is there any way I could select deploy location in MyEclipse? Do I need to upgrade myEclipse to do so?

Currently there are no custom deployment options, however some webapps require that you first deploy a packaged WAR file, then deploy the application using their console or adiministrator application. Then in ME (to get hot-deploy for changes) you can erase the packaged deployment and then deploy an exploded deployment which will “overlay” the deployment that the app server created itself.
